As a Home Economics Honours student, I possess huge passion for eco-friendly initiatives, as I act as an advocate for sustainable health and wellbeing for all. Therefore, it is only fitting that my theme of choice is Education for Sustainability. With huge emphasis on the SDGs, it is undoubtable that I am fully equipped with the knowledge on sustainable methods. 

Having been chosen as a student champion, I hope to help make ATU greener, more resilient, and ready to face the future. Be it through upcycling workshops, food pantries, food donations or pre-loved clothing sales. To have a direct impact on the future development of the TU sector and the student learning experience is vastly important. Climate action is greatly required within the Irish society, so it is time to put it all into action and what better place to start than within the hands of our capable students at ATU.
