ATU lecturer Susan McDonell is launching her book, Talking about Race’ on Friday the 27 October at 2pm at the ATU Sligo campus with Emer O'Neill: Author, presenter and anti-racism activist.
This illustrated resource is intended to support first conversations about race in Irish primary schools. It explores race and racism using simple language and prompts discussion on possibilities for change in our schools and societies. It also provides a range of resources and training options for teachers wishing to develop their own knowledge of this area.
