Important Dates
Induction sessions will be held on the following dates:
Sligo, St. Angelas, Donegal (Letterkenny & Killybegs), Galway (Dublin Rd) campuses: Thursday 10 and/or Friday 11 September 2026
Galway (Wellpark Rd), Mountbellew, Mayo, Connemara campuses: Monday 14 September 2026
All new students must attend. The induction session you attend depends on the programme and campus you are registered to. Teaching will start on Tuesday 15 September 2026.
After the Induction days are over, our #First5Weeks welcome programme for new students starts from the first day of term. This is designed to help you get the most out of ATU-life and smooth the transition to university.
Each week has a different theme to highlight the university’s academic, social, and personal supports available.
