Engineering and Computing
ATU provides a diverse range of full-time and part-time courses in Engineering and Computing, with a strong focus on practical learning, projects, and professional accreditation.
With 14 departments, 214 courses and over 8,600 students studying across discipline areas like Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Civil Engineering and Construction, Engineering Apprenticeships, and Computing, ATU is a hub of innovation and activity.
Many of our Engineering and Built Environment courses are accredited by relevant industry bodies, including Engineers Ireland, the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) and the Society of Chartered Surveyors (SCSI). This recognition opens doors to the best opportunities for our graduates.
In the area of Computing, Software, Electronics and Technologies our students learn about the latest technologies and gain hands-on practical experience. This ensures ATU graduates excel in their fields and are highly sought after by employers.
