Galway-Mayo Induction

The following groups of students will be invited to attend an orientation event before the main induction day:

• International Students: on campus, Wednesday 9 Sept, time TBC. Students will receive an email invitation from ATU Global: international.galwaymayo.atu.ie

• Mature / Further Education Entry Students: on campus Dublin Road/Wellpark; Friday 4 September, 12.30 – 4pm. Students will receive an email invitation from the Access & Widening Participation office access.galway@atu.ie

• Students on the DARE Scheme or Wanting to Register with Disability & Learning Support Services: online, Tuesday 8 September, 6 – 7pm. Register to join the webinar. ATU Disability Office: disabilitysupport.galwaymayo@atu.ie

• Neurodiverse Students: online, TBC. Students will receive an email invitation from the ATU Disability Office: disabilitysupport.galwaymayo@atu.ie

• Students on the HEAR scheme: on campus Dublin Road; Tuesday 8 September, 9.30 – 1pm. Students will receive an email from the Access & Widening Participation office access.galway@atu.ie

Your induction will take place on campus. All new students must attend.

The induction day aims to be fun and interactive. It gives you a chance to:

• Meet your classmates
• Get to know the campus
• Meet your lecturers
• Get more information about your programme and timetable
• Find out more about student life
• Learn about the supports available for you

Depending on your course, you’ll attend on Thursday 10, Friday 11 September and/or Monday 14 September 2026. Check below for your Programme Induction timetable.

Arriving early? All students attending induction are welcome to join the free Breakfast Clubs on 10^th & 11^th September from 9am-10am in the Student Kitchen near the Canteen (Northern Reception)
