Welcome to Atlantic Technological University!

If you’re starting ATU Galway-Mayo this September, your induction will take place on campus on Wednesday 10th, Thursday 11th, and /or Friday 12th September. You’ll find out which day to attend under the Induction Days section below.

Pre-Induction Orientation Events

The following groups of students will be invited to attend an orientation event before the main induction day:

Things to know

  • Breakfast Club
    • Arriving on campus early? No worries— we’ve got you covered! Join us every morning in the Students’ Union Kitchenette before Induction events from 9:30-10:30am for a friendly start to your day.
  • New Student Chill Zone
    • Looking for some free time before or after your induction sessions? Drop by to enjoy a game, colour, assemble a jigsaw, or simply relax! The Chill Zone will be available during Induction days in Rooms 1035 and 1040. Please note spaces are limited.
  • Bring Your Water Bottles & Travel Cups!
    • We encourage you to bring a water bottle or travel cup with you while on campus. There are various spots around campus where you can refill your water bottles throughout the day. Please note, the canteen does not provide disposable cups for hot beverages, but you can purchase a reusable cup for €2 or bring your own travel cup to enjoy your drinks sustainably.
