ATU St Angelas Peer Mentoring Programme

The Peer Mentoring Programme provides a friendly introduction to ATU St Angelas for incoming first year students – all first year students are automatically enrolled in the programme and are invited to take part.

Student volunteers from 2nd and 3rd years are each assigned a group of first year students – a mentor group.  The student mentors provide peer support to help their first year student group to settle in at ATU St Angelas and to help them navigate the first weeks and months of their university life.  Where possible, peer mentors are assigned first year students who are studying the same programme as themselves.

Watch out for an email from your assigned mentor in the first week of your course – this will be your invitation to meet your mentor and the other first year students in your mentor group.

#First5Weeks

Our #First5Weeks Welcome Programme kicks off in the first week of term and is open to all new and returning students. It’s designed to help you settle into uni life and make starting third-level education easier.
