Forbhreathnú Cúrsa
The Certificate in Computing is an online-preparatory programme which is taken remotely in June and July. It is designed to prepare students to undertake the on-campus MSc when they arrive in ATU Donegal.
The MSc is an on-campus taught program which focuses on topics applicable to Data Science. It includes a dissertation component which will offer the student the opportunity to apply a range of topics covered in the programme to demonstrate an extended knowledge of and ability to work in the area of data science. Students who do not take the dissertation may graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science.

Applicants can expect to allow between 10 and 20 hours for study per week.

The majority of modules are assessed via 100% continuous assessment. Two modules are assessed via 50% coursework and 50% final exam.

The course will be available to applicants who meet one of the following criteria:
- An Honours Degree with first or second-class honours or an equivalent qualification
- Candidates who do not have an Honours degree but have significant relevant experience may also be eligible for consideration via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
- IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-EU students.
