Explore ATU Sligo open days
From exploring future career pathways to experiencing life on campus, Atlantic Technological University (ATU) invites prospective students, parents, guardians, and guidance counsellors to its Sligo and St Angela's Campus Open Days on Thursday, 5 November and Saturday, 7 November.
The events will provide a valuable opportunity to discover ATU’s diverse range of programmes and gain first-hand insight into the student experience at ATU.
Open Day visitors will have the opportunity to explore state-of-the-art learning environments, engage with academic experts, and hear directly from current students about life at ATU. ATU’s St Angela’s campus will offer campus tours during the two-day event, allowing visitors to explore its facilities.
ATU’s Sligo campus will open its doors and showcase the experiences that await future students. A key feature of the Open Day at the Sligo campus is the chance to meet representatives from ATU’s academic teams and extensive student support services, including the Careers Office, Admissions, Academic Writing, Tertiary Education, Students Union and Sports Scholarship team. These supports reflect ATU’s commitment to fostering student success and creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Throughout the event, guests can take guided tours of both campuses, including academic buildings, specialist laboratories, libraries, sports facilities and creative learning spaces. A complimentary shuttle bus service will operate between the Sligo and St Angela’s campuses, making it easy for visitors to experience both locations.
Open Day attendees will also be encouraged to discover the vibrant student experience Sligo offers, with information on accommodation, transport options, and life in the region. Visitors can explore the town and surrounding area while learning why Sligo remains a popular destination for students from across Ireland and beyond.
Speaking ahead of the event, Fiona Kelly, ATU Marketing Manager, commented,
Choosing a university is one of the most important decisions a student will make. Our Open Day offers the perfect opportunity for prospective students and their families to explore our campuses, meet our staff and students, experience our facilities, and discover the many pathways available to them at ATU. We look forward to welcoming visitors and helping them take the next step towards their future.
