Discover your future: ATU’s Sligo & St Angela’s joint Open Day
Atlantic Technological University’s (ATU) Sligo and St Angela’s campuses are delighted to welcome prospective students, parents, and guidance counsellors to a joint Open Day on Saturday, 25 April 2026, from 10am to 1pm. This vibrant showcase will highlight the full spectrum of study pathways, campus life, and student supports available across both locations.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy one‑to‑one programme guidance from academic experts across a diverse range of disciplines, including Business, ICT, Design, Education, Social Science, Engineering, Computing, Science, Health, and Nursing.
The event features guided campus tours, live demonstrations in specialist facilities, and a series of informative talks covering student life, accommodation options, CAO admissions, grants, and Erasmus+ opportunities.
ATU’s dedicated student support teams—including Access, Disability Support, Careers, and the Students’ Union—will be on-site to offer personalised advice and answer questions about the services available to students throughout their academic journey.
Visitors can also take part in accommodation tours that depart every 20 minutes and use special visitor vouchers to explore Sligo and experience what makes it such a vibrant student location. Quiet spaces will be available on both campuses for anyone who requires a calmer, low‑stimulus environment.
A shuttle bus service running every 30 minutes will make it easy for guests to move between the Sligo and St Angela’s campuses and experience both in one visit.
This Open Day is an ideal opportunity for future learners to gain firsthand insight into the facilities, academic offerings, and supportive learning environment that make ATU one of Ireland’s most dynamic and inclusive technological universities.
