Atlantic Technological University launch BSc(Hons) in Physiotherapy
Atlantic Technological University is pleased to announce the launch of the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy programme.

Atlantic Technological University (ATU) is pleased to announce the launch of the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy programme. The programme will commence this September 2025 at ATU’s Letterkenny campus. ATU’s BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy programme (CAO Code: AU374) will be open to applications via the CAO Available Places facility from 12 noon the 28 August until 11am on the 4 September.
This four-year, level 8 honours degree programme, will develop learners to become well-rounded, autonomous practitioners with the knowledge required to underpin the current demands of the profession capable of managing change, supporting their profession and patients, and developing professionally as physiotherapists. Graduates of this programme will function as competent autonomous practitioners capable of collaborating and leading interprofessional teams in a variety of clinical environments.
The programme will commence at ATU’s Letterkenny campus on Monday 15 September with a short window of opportunity to apply to join this programme. Existing CAO applicants and those who have not previously applied to the CAO can apply to study Physiotherapy between 12 noon August 28 and 11am September 4. Successful applicants, those who meet the entry and point requirements to join this programme, will be considered during Round 2 of the CAO offer process. Round 2 offers will be made on the 8 September via the CAO system.
