This module will allow the learner to assimilate a relational database environment and extract data on single and multiple tables using SQL. In addition, the learner will manipulate data results using aggregate functions, grouping and sorting.

The learning outcomes enable learners to evaluate the relational model and the relational integrity rules, define, create, alter and delete tables and data, and write SQL commands for single-table data manipulation. Learners will also retrieve data from multiple tables, implement Inner, Outer, Left and Right joins, and apply aggregate functions, grouping, sorting and pattern matching to support effective data analysis.

2	Advanced SQL Programming This module presents a detailed examination and practice of the advanced usage and functionality of SQL and T-SQL in an enterprise database environment using a suitable relational database management system.
