This Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a postgraduate level programme that enables learners to critically evaluate innovation processes and entrepreneurial practices within FinTech organisations. Learners develop a strategic understanding of innovation management, new product and service development, agile and lean approaches, and dual innovation models relevant to digital financial services. A strong emphasis is placed on developing an entrepreneurial mindset capable of identifying, evaluating and developing high potential opportunities within both startups and established organisations.
The module also addresses the human dimension of innovation, including managing creativity, leadership for innovation and fostering innovative organisational cultures. Learners explore intrapreneurship as a mechanism for driving change, competitiveness and value creation within incumbent financial services firms, with particular emphasis on challenging the status quo and redesigning processes, products or services.

Standard applicants will present a qualification at Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent.
Applicants may also be eligible to apply on the grounds of Recognition of Prior Learning (PRL) if they have attained appropriate experience and attainment thresholds deemed equivalent to a Level 8 award.
Applicants must be currently employed in the FinTech sector and hold a Level 8 in a Fintech related area, or an equivalent qualification.
