Crafting Social Media Strategies for a Greener Europe is an innovative, transdisciplinary programme that empowers you to turn ideas into impact. Combining social media, psychology, marketing, and behavioural science, this course shows you how to influence real-world behaviours and drive meaningful change towards sustainability.
Working collaboratively with students from diverse disciplines, and often across different countries, you will design creative, evidence-based digital campaigns that tackle pressing environmental and social challenges within the EU GREEN Alliance. This hands-on, team-based approach gives you practical experience in developing strategies that resonate with audiences and inspire action. By the end of the programme, you will have the skills to create compelling sustainability campaigns, understand what motivates behaviour change, and contribute to building a greener, more responsible Europe.

Crafting Social Media Strategies for a Greener EuropeThis module explores how behavioural science, social psychology, and digital marketing can be used to encourage more sustainable behaviours across European communities. Delivered as a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), it combines online learning with an intensive in ‑ person mobility experience. Students work in international, multidisciplinary teams to design evidence ‑ based social media campaigns that address real sustainability challenges using ethical and inclusive communication approaches. By taking part, learners gain practical digital skills, experience applying behaviour change theory, and the confidence to create impactful campaigns for diverse audiences. Learning Outcomes 1.
