Available Places at ATU
Highlighted below is the list of ATU Available Places programmes that will be open to applications from Thursday 28th August 2025 at 12 noon.
ATU is pleased to announce that the Master of Pharmacy (AU975) programme based in our Sligo campus, and the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy (AU374) programme based at our Letterkenny campus will be open to applications via the Available Places facility on www.cao.ie from 12 noon Thursday 28th August.
Those interested in studying Pharmacy or Physiotherapy have until 11am on 4th Sept to apply to join these programmes, these programmes will then be removed from Available Places after 11am on this date.
If you are interested in studying other programmes such as Business, Engineering, Computing and Science we also have limited number of spaces available on these programmes. The full list of Available Places programmes at ATU are highlighted below:

Internal Transfers at ATU
If you have received an offer from ATU, and you’re not happy with your offer, contact us via cao@atu.ie
Students who have accepted an offer from ATU via CAO and who register on stage 1 of the ATU programme may have an opportunity in semester 1 to avail of an ‘internal transfer’. The following criteria applies:
- A place must be available on the programme to which the transfer is sought,
- Applicants must have achieved the minimum entry requirements and have attained at least the minimum of the cut off points for the programme which they wish to transfer onto,
- Applications for transfer during the CAO season will normally only be permitted for the programmes listed on CAO AvailablePlaces, however, if wait lists are exhausted, a transfer can be considered.

Information Day – Friday 29th August
From 11am to 2pm, our Sligo, Letterkenny and Galway City Dublin Road campuses will host an Information Day aimed at supporting students considering their CAO options and offers from ATU.
