MyCareerPath is a service available to people in the workplace, returners to education, entrepreneurs seeking to upskill and people looking to accelerate their career and progress within their organisation.
It helps managers and HR departments by enhancing the career development experience for employees at all levels. MyCareerPath also helps enable strong employee engagement, upskilling existing team members and providing guidance to education and career pathways at all levels.
MyCareerPath is a 6-8 week career development programme which gives you access to four meetings with your Career and Learning Pathway advisor to help you realise your strengths and develop your potential.

Students are supported through a range of innovative, AI-enabled tools. With CV360, they can build and refine their CV with instant feedback, while Interview 360 offers realistic interview practice. The Strengths Profile and Skills Assessment tools further help students identify and articulate what they have to offer-enhancing their confidence and employability.

MyCareerPath is a service supported by the Atlantic Technological University (ATU) which offers organisations career guidance and mentorship, including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), to address skills gaps and customises career and learning pathways for employees.
We partner with businesses and organisations to understand the challenges faced and find solutions for their future skills.
The platform will contribute to fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organisation.

Transitioning Through ATU
ATU Preparation for Placement Program
The programme assists students preparing to apply for work placement and professional practice as part of their university programme. MyCareerPath provides an online educational programme and curated learning pathway which incorporates access to a career development platform of AI-powered tools within the innovative framework of My Career Path platform, such as the STARR Framework, CV Builder, CV 360, and Interview 360.
ATU Transversal Skills Module
This is a 5 ECTS Level 8 Micro Credential that aims to enable students to understand what transversal skills are and their relevance in the workplace. They rate their associated level of professional competence across 12 identified skills using an AI enhanced tool called Skills Pulse Checker. Students embark on a transformative journey, strategically using a range of skills as catalysts for success to enhance their careers and their employability.
ATU The Next Step Careers 5 Credit Level 7 Module
This develops the learner professionally and personally and equips them with skills and knowledge to enable them to plan and achieve their career goals. The module is aligned to ATU Employability Statement and Framework.
Transitioning Into ATU
College Skills And Career Planning
This a 5-credit, Level 6 module providing students with a transformative journey of self-discovery and career planning. It involves identifying areas of interest and strengths, researching courses and career opportunities, investigating the range of supports available, and creating a career portfolio.
Strengths Path Programme
This is a blended online digital programme for pre-entry underrepresented young people. The programme incorporates an online strengths assessment tool which generates a careers report that aligns personal strengths to suitable career sectors and courses in ATU.
Recognition of Prior Learning Preparation Pathway
This pathway helps applicants demonstrate how their skills, experience, and knowledge meet ATU program entry requirements, ensuring a strong application for entry or advanced entry in recognition prior learning (RPL)
