Stay Back Visa

The Third Level Graduate Programme provides non-EU/EEA graduates with an opportunity to remain in Ireland for a specific period of time for the purpose of seeking graduate level employment. 

A graduate of an NFQ level 8 undergraduate degree has the option of a one-year stay back visa.

A graduate of an NFQ level 9 postgraduate programme has the option of a two-year stay back visa.

The programme is open to students who have studied in Ireland and successfully completed a qualification at NFQ level 8, level 9 or level 10. To be eligible for the scheme graduates must meet the eligibility criteria listed on the Irish Immigration Service Website
