International Student Induction - Atlantic Technological University

Induction is an important part of starting your journey at Atlantic Technological University. It’s your opportunity to settle into university life, meet your lecturers and fellow students, explore your campus and learn about the supports and services available to you.

International student induction sessions will be held at the following campuses:

Galway City, Dublin Road campus – Wednesday September 9th

Donegal Letterkenny campus – Wednesday September 9th

Sligo campus – Wednesday September 9th

Following the international student induction days, you will then join the ATU induction sessions for all new students across all ATU campuses. These induction sessions will be held on the following dates:

Galway City, Dublin Road, Donegal Letterkenny, Donegal Killybegs, Sligo and St. Angelas campuses: Thursday 10th and/or Friday 11th September 2026

Galway City, Wellpark Road, Mayo, Mountbellew and Connemara campuses: Monday 14th September 2026

All new students must attend. The induction session you attend depends on the programme and campus you are registered to. Teaching will start on Tuesday 15 September 2026.
