Dual Career Athletes at ATU are students who have been awarded a Gold Sport Scholarship through the ATU Sport Scholarship Programme.

The scholarship supports students who are committed to achieving success both in their studies and in their sport. We recognise the dedication required to compete at a high level while working towards a third-level qualification, and we provide support to help student-athletes balance both commitments.

ATU is proud to hold Affiliate Accreditation for Student Athlete Support (ASAS) for 2025 and 2026. Awarded by Sport Ireland, this accreditation recognises our commitment to helping high-performing student-athletes combine education and elite sport. Through our Dual Career support structures, student-athletes have access to guidance and support throughout their academic journey, helping them achieve their goals both on and off the field of play.
