Tell us a little bit about yourself and what led you to choosing your course:

I was always interested in drawing and art. So, it was obvious I would want a career doing what I love. Studying Fine Art was the answer.

Tell us why you chose ATU’s Sligo Campus:

I am from Sligo and I know Sligo is a great place. The ATU Sligo offered everything I wanted.

What do you like about life in Sligo?

Sligo has a lot to offer friendly people, great food, great scenery and galleries.If You love art and history Sligo has it.

What advice would you give to a student thinking about coming to Sligo

Just enjoy what it has to offer.

What specifically about the course do you particularly enjoy:

The highlight for me was in third year where I recreated one of my drawings in a large scale 3D Sculpture. I was shortlisted for the RDS Visual Arts Awards 2024 and selected to exhibit in the RHA. A fantastic and memorable opportunity!

If you were speaking with a first year student about to start your course, what advice/information would you give them:

To enjoy the course.

What have you been working on since graduation?

I have started my own card and print business. I also do commissions and personalised prints and cards.
