Statement from Atlantic Technological University (ATU): Minor Fire Incident at ATU Connemara Campus
A minor fire occurred outside the Connemara campus during equipment decommissioning. It was quickly controlled with no injuries reported or damage to the building.
A minor fire occurred earlier today outside the ATU Connemara campus during the decommissioning of an exterior piece of equipment. The fire was quickly brought under control, and we are pleased to confirm that no injuries were reported and no damage was caused to the campus building.
We wish to extend our sincere thanks to the Clifden Fire Brigade for their swift and professional response.
ATU will continue to prioritise the safety of our students, staff, and campus facilities.
