Atlantic Technological University (ATU) recently recognised Lisa Lynch, Senior Manager of R&D at Boston Scientific, with the Alumni Award in Science & Health at the university’s first-ever Alumni Awards.
Lisa was recognised for her exceptional contributions to the MedTech industry, where she spearheads work focused on enhancing patient outcomes. Her work across 3D printing, heart valve case support, and physician education has made a significant impact on advancing the field of MedTech.
Lisa’s career is marked by numerous accolades, including the Boston Scientific Global Excellence Award for her heart valve research, leadership recognitions, and community service awards such as the Galway Mayor Awards for Community Services and Social Inclusion.
Dr Orla Flynn, President of ATU, shared her thoughts: “Lisa Lynch’s remarkable work in R&D, coupled with her advocacy for women in STEM, has inspired countless individuals within and beyond the MedTech industry. We are extremely proud to recognise her achievements with this Alumni Award, and her ongoing impact continues to reflect the values and mission of Atlantic Technological University.”
Lisa’s award was presented during ATU’s Spring Conferring Ceremonies, bringing together the university community to celebrate outstanding graduates who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made lasting contributions to their respective fields.
