EU GREEN secures €7.2 million to accelerate sustainable transformation in higher education
ATU welcomes the announcement that the EU GREEN Alliance has secured €7.2 million in funding under the European Commission's 2026 Erasmus+ European Universities call.
As one of nine partner universities in the Alliance, ATU will continue to work with its European partners to advance collaboration in education, research, innovation and regional engagement as EU GREEN enters its next phase of development from 2026 to 2028. The funding will support the continued development of joint educational programmes, lifelong learning opportunities, micro-credentials, flexible mobility pathways, research collaboration and stronger links with regional innovation ecosystems across the Alliance.

EU GREEN provides ATU staff and students with many academic, research and cultural opportunities with our alliance partners. This funding supports the future for the EU GREEN Alliance as we advance sustainability across our nine European regions.
