Applications now open for HEA-Funded Summer Camps at ATU
Atlantic Technological University (ATU) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for its 2026 HEA-funded Summer Camps, taking place across multiple ATU campuses from June to October.
Designed for young people aged 12-17, the camps offer engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, teamwork, and problem-solving. Through practical workshops, interactive activities, and exposure to university life, participants will have the opportunity to explore future educational and career pathways in a supportive and inspiring environment.
The summer camps will provide students with access to ATU campuses and facilities, while also introducing them to a wide range of subject areas through interactive lectures and activities delivered by university staff, facilitators, guest speakers, student ambassadors, and industry experts.
“ATU’s summer camps are all about creativity, confidence building and fun. Students get to tackle exciting challenges, work with new friends and experience the energy of university life while developing skills in innovation, teamwork and entrepreneurship. By showcasing the innovation and talent across the region, the camps help students see the wide range of future careers and opportunities available to them close to home.” – Eve-Anne McCarron, Head of Engagement & Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Development at ATU.
By participating, students can develop important skills in creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, teamwork, and problem-solving while gaining confidence and insight into future educational and career opportunities. These programmes also play an important role in supporting regional development by encouraging young people to explore new interests, broaden their ambitions, and experience university life first-hand within their local communities.
