“I chose to study the MA in Leadership and Advocacy in Early Years because I always knew I wanted to make a meaningful impact in early childhood education and support every child’s right to thrive. The flexible delivery of the programme meant I could balance study with my work and family life, and apply what I learned straight away in my practice. The course deepened my confidence and strengthened my voice as an advocate for children, enabling me to lead change and support other educators with real purpose and passion.”

Shannan Mulroney, graduate of the MA in Leadership and Advocacy in Early Years

“I chose the Master of Arts in UX Design Experience & Applied Innovation because I wanted to expand my skills in user-centred design and innovation and move into a role where I could shape real digital experiences. The course was delivered in a flexible way that fitted around work commitments, and the emphasis on practical projects meant I could build a strong professional portfolio. Completing this master’s has boosted my confidence as a designer and opened doors to exciting career opportunities.

Tanuja Pawar, graduate of the MA in UX Design Experience and Applied Innovation

“My online experience at ATU Sligo has helped me prepare for similar experiences at other institutions. It has improved my computer skills; I have become less self-conscious about talking on camera, I am more confident as a student and can figure out tasks for myself, and I have become less reliant on others.

The course I chose at ATU Sligo has been beneficial to me and my career choice. The course content has also helped me in my role as a Samaritan volunteer listener, benefitting the many callers I engage with. It has led me to explore further the world of counselling and psychotherapy.”

Terry Byrne, graduate of the Introduction to Counselling Skills
