Our Postgraduate Diploma in Computing in Cloud Technologies will augment your existing skills and knowledge to position you for a successful and rewarding career in Cloud Technologies.
If you already hold an honours degree in computing or an appropriate mix of academic qualifications and IT experience then this course will help maintain your self-development with a set of skills that are transferable to the broader computing industry.
These skill are reinforced with a strong emphasis on teamwork and the primary aim of the course is to empower you with the necessary theoretical and hands-on skills to allow you to work and make a a significant contribution in a Cloud Technologies environment.
Successful graduates find opportunities in insurance companies, all major IT multinationals as well as any company using large Data Center based IT Systems. Roles include becoming a Cloud Architect or Engineer, a Cloud Systems Administrator or Cloud Services Developer.
Recommended Study Hours per week
Contact hours consist of a 2 hour online lecture, two evenings per week.

ATU also offers a Master of Science in Computing in Cloud Technologies.

Entry Requirements
A level-8 qualification in Computing.
A level-7 qualification in a Computing with 3 years appropriate work-experience.
Applicants who do not hold these qualifications may also apply on the basis of Recognised Prior Learning which includes a combination of education, training and work experience. Applicants should have some knowledge of computer networks and operating systems. Recognition of Prior Learning will be considered in accordance with the Quality Assurance of ATU Donegal.
Fees
Total Fees EU: €4200
Through Springboard+ funding, employed candidates only pay €670 to study this course. For unemployed candidates, the course tuition fee is free, with 100% of the fee funded by Springboard+.
