LTA Strategy
The development of the Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA) Strategy first began in 2023 through a university‑wide, evidence-informed consultation process aligned with ATU’s strategic priorities, external review requirements, and national policy expectations. A comprehensive discovery phase included analysis of internal and external data, national and international policy reviews, and insights from global teaching and learning experts. Extensive engagement with over 350 staff, students, and partners, through workshops, focus groups, World Café sessions and surveys shaped the emerging themes.
The TLA Committee of Academic Council guided the process, providing strategic oversight and ensuring coherence. Additional validation came from the CINNTE Review Team, Advance HE leaders, ATU faculty leadership teams, functional managers, and a team of student champions. This iterative, wide‑ranging consultation ensured the LTA Strategy 2026-2030 is robust, aligned with institutional priorities, and well‑positioned for effective implementation.
