Following an introductory session, the ATU team began collaborating with fellow researchers from the other EU Green eight universities to brainstorm ideas and key targets for the Alliance’s sustainability led research.
There are six main research clusters in EU Green, each with a different sustainability’ based theme: Health and well-being; Agriculture food and environmental sustainability; Engineering and technology for sustainable development; Sustainable tourism for cultural and natural heritage; Education sciences for sustainable development; and Challenges in ecosystem biodiversity and function.
At the event, ATU researchers were key to seeding new ideas for research proposals, blended intensive programmes (BIPs) and mobilities with our partners from the EU Green universities in France, Poland, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Italy, and Romania.
EU Green will involve students and staff from throughout the ATU. If you wish to become involved please contact Frances Lucy, ATU’s EU Green Coordinator. Frances will be meeting with many groups on different ATU campuses from September 2023.
