Create Your Story: Visit January Open Evenings at ATU
Atlantic Technological University (ATU) will host a series of Open Evenings in January 2026. These events provide prospective students with a valuable opportunity to explore the university’s offerings and make informed decisions about the options available at ATU.
The events will take place across the month of January in three ATU campus locations:
- ATU Donegal (Letterkenny campus), Wednesday 21st of January from 4-6.30pm
- ATU Galway City (Dublin Road campus), Thursday 22nd of January from 6-8pm
- ATU Sligo & St Angela’s, Tuesday 27th January from 6-8pm
Fiona Kelly, Marketing Manager at ATU commented, “Visiting Open Evenings gives prospective students a chance to tour campus facilities, connect directly with ATU academic teams and lecturers, engage in one-on-one conversations exploring in greater detail ATU’s programmes and unique programme offerings. During the Open Evening events, visitors can connect directly with current students to gain insight into university life and the programme experiences available at ATU. We offer many opportunities with our programmes, which include structured work placements, Erasmus+ opportunities and professionally accredited programme options – all of which are important when considering your study options.”
With the CAO application deadline approaching, attending an ATU Open Evening will provide support and advice on application procedures, entry requirements, and important deadlines.
The series of events begins in the Letterkenny campus with talks on applying to the CAO led out by ATU’s admissions team; a talk on student life led out by the Student Union, and a health and well-being talk aimed at supporting those navigating study and exams.
If you are a Leaving Certificate student, or you are interested in postgraduate, part-time and online learning, a mature student, a parent or guardian of a Leaving Certificate student interested in studying at ATU in 2026, be sure to register your attendance at the upcoming events.
