The SU Elections 2026 Hustings (Candidate Speeches) will take place on Monday, 23rd March at 1pm.
You can attend in person or join online via live stream, making it accessible to students across all campuses. The event will also be recorded and shared on our social media later that day.
Location: Theatre 1000, Dublin Road Campus
Time: 1pm – 2pm
This is your opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, understand what they stand for, and ask questions about the issues that matter most to you. The Students’ Union represents your voice within the University, so it’s important that you feel informed and confident when casting your vote.
We are also inviting students to submit questions in advance, which will be put to the candidates during the event.
Prize Draw
To make things even better, all attendees (both in person and online) will receive a unique code during the session to enter a prize draw, with the following prizes up for grabs:
- A pair of End of Year Ball tickets (Galway or Mayo – your choice)
