The Sligo Engineering Fair returns to our Sligo campus on Sunday 1 March, offering an exciting day of creativity, curiosity, and exploration for people of all ages. Running from 12pm to 4pm, this year’s fair features a bigger programme, new public attractions, and even more ways to experience the world of engineering.

Visitors can look forward to a wide mix of demonstrations, maker activities, talks, and exhibitions designed to spark imagination and highlight how engineering shapes our everyday lives. New attractions have been added this year to encourage hands‑on learning for children, families, and anyone interested in technology, design, and problem‑solving.

The fair is delivered in partnership with industry, community groups, and engineering organisations. Together, we aim to create an engaging, welcoming space where future engineers can take their first steps and where people of all ages can enjoy discovering how things work.
