Ground Up’ Conversations: The Europe that we want
Donegal – Letterkenny
Join us on ATU's Letterkenny Campus, on Tuesday 19 May, from 10am – 1pm as we explore: What kind of Europe do we want for our future?
This workshop will bring together activists, students, and young community leaders to shape a shared youth vision for Ireland’s upcoming Presidency of the EU Council in July 2026.
You can help us shape a series of recommendations and priorities for the Europe that they want to see – “A Manifesto for Ireland in Europe”. Later in the year we’ll bring the youth manifesto to policy makers in Dublin and Brussels, and there will be an opportunity for you to join us!

If you have any questions please contact us on IRL-Campaigns@oxfam.org
These workshops are part of YOUNITE, an EU‑funded initiative promoting participatory democracy among young people across Europe. YOUNITE works in Spain, Italy, Ireland, Belgium, Greece, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany to strengthen civic engagement and amplify youth voices in public policy.
